Greetings!
My name is Michael Stadler and its an honor to be running this spring to continue my service as a member of the MTSD Board of Education. After having the amazing privilege of being appointed to the MTSD Board of Education in June of 2024 after a mid-term vacancy on the board, I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to serve and help support our community in this role.
As a SE Wisconsin native and Mequon community resident for nearly 12 years, I appreciate the importance of a strong, high-performing school district and its role in helping build a thriving and vibrant community. My wonderful wife, Neda, and I have two young boys, both of whom attend Wilson Elementary within MTSD. I also have four nieces and nephews in the district attending Wilson, Steffen, and Homestead. As I have volunteered and engaged in their academic journeys over these past years, it has become clear to me that MTSD is a truly amazing school district.
Professionally, I am a head and neck cancer surgeon at Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin. In addition, I have served in the following roles and gained significant skills and insights in helping lead through challenging times:
Relavant Professional Experiences
● Associate Professor and medical educator at Medical College of Wisconsin
● Academic leader and program builder as Division Chief and Associate Dean
● Executive and clinical leader as Chief Medical Officer at Froedtert Hospital
Delivering On
● Fiscal responsibility and accountability
● Superb clinical quality and safe care
● Workforce well-being and support
● Transparent and bi-directional communication
● Data-driven decision-making and results-oriented approach
● Community outreach and engagement
● Innovation and continuous improvement
With your vote and confidence, I look forward to serving our community, students, and district to ensure that every child in the district has the tools and educational opportunities necessary to thrive and succeed in life.
