I am tremendously excited to be running as an incumbent for a seat on the MTSD school board to continue the work of supporting the amazing children, families, and school district in our community. Our children are our most important asset, and thus, I have a deep interest in seeing our school district thrive - serving both the needs of our children and entire community. My professional experience in executive leadership and board governance, advocacy and attainment of high-quality outcomes, and empathy and passion for those most in need have all prepared me well to serve in this role.

Academic Achievement & Growth:
- I stand for educational excellence by ensuring our students can reach their full potential
- I support the delivery of high-quality, research-based curricula and educational best practices that supports every child's needs

Student Support & Well-Being:
- I stand for each and every student obtaining the social-emotional and real-life assistance they need to thrive in their academic environment and beyond
- I support utilizing the necessary resources to provide appropriate programming that enhances student engagement, life skill development, unique needs, and overall well-being
- I expect continuous improvement in our student and family engagement scores and overall satisfaction with the district, reflecting a culture that always puts student and family needs first
- I look forward to meeting the increasing needs of all of our students at a time of increasing behavioral health challenges and special educational needs
Financial Sustainability & Stewardship:
- I stand for responsible and principled financial stewardship of our community's tax payer dollars
- I support ongoing efforts by the district to engage in fiscally responsible approaches to spending, including meaningful zero based budgeting processes
- I expect our administrative leadership team to continue to strive for operational efficiency and financial responsibility
- I look forward to continuing to serve on the legislative committee of the school board to further advocate for appropriate, sustainable, and equitable funding models for our state's public school districts
Teacher/Staff Engagement & Development:
- I stand for the support and development of those who educate and care for our most prized asset in our community - our children
- I support continuing to provide market-competitive compensation and benefits to our teachers and staff that drive our excellent academic outcomes
- I expect ongoing work by our administrative leaders to address competitive and sustainable total compensation packages, while also enhancing professional development opportunities to further promote educational excellence
- I look forward to seeking and obtaining ongoing insights and input from our district's teachers and staff to better understand how we can best support them in their work
Community Engagement & Partnership:
